Community Liaison (Inclusion Strategies)

GMP works closely with clients, communities and municipalities to establish community outreach programs.

We identify local and resident-owned businesses as well as skilled tradesmen for inclusion on projects within their communities. GMP initiates community hiring through creative strategies; we work with contractors to refer, screen and monitor community residents for permanent, temporary and apprenticeship opportunities.

GMP not only works with local residents to secure temporary and permanent employment, but also assists in identifying local subcontractors for participation on projects. We conduct the necessary due diligence to pre-qualify subcontractors and provide technical support to local firms wishing to participate but who may not possess the resources to do so.

Our role as liaison extends well beyond construction. We work with the local community and political factions and the owner is continually provided with updates relative to outreach opportunities that may benefit the community.
